He has been an Associated Full-time Professor at the Federal University of Piauí, Brazil, since 2012, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering. He has also held several management positions within the university, including Coordinator of the Electrical Engineering Program and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering.

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, along with a Masters degree and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.

Áreas de Interesse (áreas de interesse de ensino e pesquisa)

He has led various academic research projects, supervising graduate and undergraduate students, and his research interests are focused on the development and application of new technologies in Engineering, particularly in the areas of AI and Energy Efficiency, among other fields.In recent years, he has led several academic projects focused on developing new technologies for power systems applications, specifically using AI in a multidisciplinary way in various fields of Engineering, such as projects applying Machine Learning (a valuable branch of AI) to obtain better results in areas such as Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies, and lately, in language learning processes.
